I realize this is a very old post, but I just happened upon it through other links. I'm sort of wonder which "practices and methods outlined by "what "Agile process"? Since you use "the" in front of "Agile process," I'm guessing you are thinking of one of the methods and its set of practices?

Just wondering since (and I don't fundamentally disagree) you say Agile is about doing things not just a change in thinking. I would say, however, that to "do Agile" you have to change a good bit about what you normally "think." It may not end up being hard, but if you already thought the Agile Values and Principles made sense to you, you'd like already try to "do" things consistent with those ideas.
